LaTex Resources

  • If you're getting started with LaTex, this may help: LaTex Wiki 

  • Then there are some sites that make life easier. Sometimes I code for a while and something goes wrong and I want to check it. Or sometimes, I want to test things out.

    • TexPaste is useful for taking snippets of your code and showing you how it will look.

    • LaTex Texer is an alternative to TexPaste. It also works nicely. 

    • Codecogs allows you to used symbols to generate code. It could also make life easier.

    • ShareLaTex is useful if you're working on documents with people. 

    • If you ever need to type about something mathematical in an email and you have gmail, there is always TeX for Gmail

    • If you are need/want LaTex on Windows, you can explore MiKTex.
    • There are many editors out there, I personally recommend TeXnic Center .
  • There is a large LaTex culture out there. There is plenty of info and sites that are helpful.
  • There is also a lot of info out there for very odd and specific code and functions that comes up out there.
